Natural Fit Therapy Events

“Floor Confidence” & “Falls Training” Programs

 

Designed to give adults of any age the strength and confidence to get on and off the floor with ease, and teach them how to fall without getting injured.

Join either of Natural Fit Therapy’s 6-week programs with a friend and split the cost ($175 per session for 6 sessions). Make sure to mention this blog post to activate the offer.

Thursday, September 1st Silent Book Club 6-7 PM (Austin,  TX)

With no assigned book or required group discussion, the Silent Book Club is ideal for those who want the community of a book club without the homework and social pressure. We meet once a month to read silently as a group, with some time for optional socializing just after our reading time.

Saturday, September 3rd 2022 – Screen on the Green (Austin, TX)

Join us at Fareground on Saturday, September 3rd for our final summer “Screen on the Green” viewing: Luca (PG).

Bring your own blanket, and we’ll bring the summer fun with an assortment of concession specials from $4 happy hour drinks to popcorn and cotton candy!

Showtime: 8:30pm but pop on by anytime after 6:00pm to reserve your spot on the green and enjoy dinner from any of our vendors before the movie begins.

Friday, September 9, 2022 Field of Light at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center (Austin, TX)

Austin’s own C3 Presents, in collaboration with the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at The University of Texas at Austin is proud to announce highly-acclaimed British artist Bruce Munro’s Field of Light will debut on September 9, 2022 at the Wildflower Center.

Illuminating 16 acres in the Texas Arboretum at the Wildflower Center, Field of Light is a stunning display of 28,000 vibrant solar-powered, fiber-optic light pods that showcase the intersection of art, technology, and nature. The installation unites with the outdoors, celebrating the natural topography of the landscape and creating an immersive and emotional experience for guests. The exhibit runs September through December 2022. Get social media updates on Instagram and Facebook.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Wildflower Center.

Saturday, September 24th 2022 Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival 

The Dripping Springs Pumpkin Festival is held at the Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead, a Texas State Historical Landmark, which is also included on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally settled in 1854, the farmstead is nestled on five beautifully shaded, oak-filled acres, making it the perfect setting for a fall celebration.

Bring out the family and experience a full day of unlimited fun with over 50 fall-inspired games, activities, and attractions. Enjoy live music presented by 100.1 Sun Radio, a courtyard marketplace featuring family-friendly products, and an incredible selection of seasonal foods and beverages for both children and adults.
