About the classes...


This class is for people who:

  • Are worried about their balance
  • Have had a fall recently or in the past and are worried about having another one
  • Have wobbly legs
  • Have a family member that is worried about them losing their independence

This is a pre-recorded balance class for people that are interested in improving their balance or, at very least, people that want to keep their balance from getting worse. It is a 30 minute introductory class for seniors that are looking to stay healthy, active and independent. This class primarily consists of standing balance exercises and requires a chair for those that may need a little support.


This class is for people who:

  • Feel like they are slowing down
  • Are having a harder time getting up and down out of their chairs
  • Are worried they are getting weaker and want to have a way to stay strong

This pre-recorded class is also 30 minutes and consists of both lower body and upper body strengthening exercises, and is designed specifically for older adults who want to maintain their strength and independence.

Pilates Chair

This class is for people who:

  • Feel stiff and achy, and want to make sure they stay flexible
  • Are wanting a total body movement class to ensure they stay strong and flexible
  • Want to improve their core strength
  • Have had back pain in the past and want to keep their back and core muscles strong

This is a entry-level Pilates class that is perfect for older adults. It focuses on total body flexibility and strength. This class does not require you to get on and off the floor. You will need a good, sturdy chair. This class is 30 minutes long.

Pilates Mat

This class is for people who:

  • Want to be challenged
  • Are looking for the best core workout they've have ever had
  • Are looking to tone and define their legs, arms and mid section
  • Want to stay strong using a safe and effective work out

This is our most advanced class. You will be required to be able to get safely on and off the floor to participate in this class. It is best done on a carpeted floor or with a Pilates/yoga mat. If you want to strengthen your core and tone your muscles, this is the class for you. This class is also 30 minutes long.

About the Instructor

Christa is a Doctor in Physical Therapy and a comprehensively licensed Pilates Instructor. She has treated side-by-side with world renowned spinal surgeons in a specialty spine based physical therapy clinic in Dallas for 5 years. Through her experiences, she has seen limitations in our spine leads to all our common physical ailments: neck pain, low back pain, shoulder, and even hip pain. She is excited to share her wealth of knowledge and teach others how movement can help the body recover and heal. What's even better, movement can prevent and reduce the chance of injury or re-injury.  When she's not working, she spends most of her time with her husband and 3 children singing, dancing, biking, hiking, being in the water, and exploring all the beauty and yummy food Austin has to offer.
